Land Use Attorney

Hahn & Hahn LLP seeks a highly qualified attorney with 5+ years of active land use experience to join our team. We advise for-profit and non-profit entities, developers, property owners, and community stakeholders on all aspects of their land use, real estate, and environmental compliance needs. Our firm’s deep ties in Southern California allow us to work collaboratively with local and state agencies to achieve our clients’ objectives efficiently and effectively. We seek an outgoing, dynamic lawyer with a passion for advocacy and substantial experience with all aspects of land use practice, including local general plans, zoning codes, historic preservation ordinances, and housing regulations, and state laws including CEQA and the Subdivision Map Act. Base salary is commensurate with experience and ranges from $165,000 to $200,000 for an associate position and from $200,000 to $300,000 for Of Counsel attorneys.

Fiduciary Accountant

The Fiduciary Accountant assists attorneys and paralegals in Hahn & Hahn’s highly regarded Trust and Estates Department with accounting related tasks. Core duties include preparing probate, trust and conservatorship accountings, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with the gathering of information for gift and estate tax returns and related IRS filings. Successful candidates will have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to work effectively with representatives from financial institutions, insurance companies, pension plans and government agencies in the course of meeting client needs. The firm fosters a friendly and collaborative working environment that often results in long employee tenures. This position is available due to an upcoming retirement and transition training will be provided by the retiring staff member.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $95,000, depending on experience and credentials. Candidates seeking a salary at the top of the range should have significant trust and estates experience, working 706 and 709 tax filing knowledge, ideally possess a paralegal certification or equivalent credential, and a demonstrated ability to work directly and effectively with clients and beneficiaries.

Legal Secretary - Litigation

Successful legal secretary candidates in our litigation department will be proactive contributors with a robust knowledge of court rules and procedures (state, federal and appellate) who enjoy working on fast-paced matters. Core responsibilities for this position include: calendaring via Law Toolbox, preparing and filing documents with the courts (e-filing and fax filing), preparing subpoenas, assisting with document productions, creating shells utilizing the firm’s macros, proofreading documents, scheduling with the various courts and, most importantly, anticipating attorney and case needs. Hahn & Hahn values teamwork and our staff and attorneys work closely together in a highly collaborative and professional environment. This position is available due to an upcoming retirement and transition training will be provided by the retiring secretary.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $95,000, depending on experience and credentials. Candidates seeking a salary at the top of the range should have demonstrated litigation experience, a 4-year college degree, and a paralegal certificate or equivalent credential.

Marketing Director

Be the first. Hahn & Hahn is seeking to hire its first in-house, dedicated marketing professional. The Firm has worked with outside consultants for several years to good result, and it is now ready to do more. We are looking for a leader to provide broad-based support for the Firm’s business development and marketing communications activities. Our new Director will work in conjunction with the Business Development Committee and Executive Director to implement the Firm's strategy, including support for our Business, Litigation, Trust & Estates, Family Law and Bankruptcy practices, as well as promoting our status as a majority women-owned law firm. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to establish and lead an in-house marketing program. The salary range for this opportunity is $80,000 to $140,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
