Hahn & Hahn LLP partner, Laura V. Farber, who is also a California State Delegate to the American Bar Association's (ABA) House of Delegates, represented the state delegation at the ABA's annual meeting in August.

There were over 5,000 registrants for the weeklong event in San Francisco. The theme of the meeting -- "Greatness in Every Direction" -- was readily on display with prominent event speakers such as James Comey, Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and The Honorable Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye, Chief Justice of the California Supreme Court.

The House of Delegates convened for a two-day meeting of its own, during which Ms. Farber and her fellow delegates worked to amend various section of the ABA's Constitution and Bylaws, and addressed issues on many legal topics, including criminal justice, disability rights, intellectual property, legal rights and responsibilities, rule of law, and diversity.

Following the conclusion of the annual meeting, Ms. Farber, in her role as California State Delegate, issued a written report of the meeting's many events and highlights to California's ABA Membership.
