Hahn & Hahn LLP partner, Laura V. Farber, was appointed by the State Bar of California Board of Trustees to serve as a delegate to the American Bar Association (ABA) House of Delegates.

Ms. Farber will be one of eleven attorneys to represent the state bar in the ABA House of Delegates, the ABA’s policy-making body. Chief among the functions of the ABA House of Delegates is to establish the association's formal positions on reforms in the law and legal practice, for which the ABA then lobbies the appropriate federal and state rule-making entities to adopt the ABA recommendations.

As a further result of her appointment as state bar delegate, Ms. Farber, who is the most senior state bar delegate, was additionally requested to serve as Interim California State Delegate on the ABA Nominating Committee, to fill an imminent vacancy in the position.

Ms. Farber's appointment as state bar delegate is for an initial two-year term.
